My Story
I’ve always been fascinated by psychology and the human mind. I was in the technology field in my first career until I decided I wanted to devote my life to helping people. I returned to school at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida in 2013. I’ve worked in child welfare, community agencies, and private practice settings, helping a culturally diverse group of people with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, anger, personality disorders, and men’s issues. I’ve had my own very difficult experiences in life and if you suffer from anxiety, depression, or grief, I am especially able to empathize with your experience. I am passionate about helping people get in better touch with and better express their feelings. I’m patient, detail-oriented, a great listener, creative, and very empathetic. I’ve had advanced training in treating anxiety and grief. I am very insightful but also feel deeply, and believe that healing and growth comes from helping you with both the way you think about your life as well as the way you feel in it.
